We officially started our second trimester on Thursday when we hit 14 weeks!! Tuesday it was like a switch was turned for how much better I began feeling. I felt "normal" - minimal queasiness, no throwing up, not even a gag! :) And then Baby Phillips decided yesterday (Friday) that he/she would decide to make his/her presence known again. So happy for the baby growing and thriving, but not quite as enthusiastic about being sick again. I'm 99% sure it was God and Baby Phillips joining forces and telling me I needed to slow down and relax, as this week has been rather busy. Note taken. :)
All that being said, today we're relaxing. Just a few quick errands, maybe a little cleaning up around the house, and then some more relaxing. I guess I should take this opportunity to thank my mom for bringing us food this week! Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and Pork Chops and Rice... I believe Justin's exact words last night were, "Stop talking for just a second... I'm enjoying my first REAL meal in months." He's so dramatic, but that's actually pretty accurate. :) Thank you, Mom!!!
10 noteworthy things that have happened this week (in no particular order):
1) Not as sick (YAY!)
2) Mom brought food.
3) Jana made us a precious baby blanket - I have the BEST co-workers!
4) Bennett began walking!! Go Mr. B!!
5) I realized I can no longer add a cute belt to an outfit - the mid-section's getting a little too thick.
6) Being pregnant continues to amaze me. Thank you, God, for big and little miracles!!
7) Justin started taking "belly pics" of me... sorry, for our eyes only! :)
8) First Trimester - check!
9) Second Trimester - under way.
10) Justin got to eat his first "real meal" in months. Yay for him!

Hey Jill! When I was preggers w/ Miss Peri I had a friend tell me to try sea-sick patches or the little wrist bands. They worked wonders! And I totally don't blame you for not wanting to share belly pics... You are so much nicer allowing people to take pics of you while you are pregnant! Although, I'm sure you are adorable, while I looked like an obese beached whale... But it's all worth it! Good luck! -Mandy Gulley (Ty and Morgan's friends)
